JABAR - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil appointed Deputy Mayor of Bekasi, Tri Adhianto as Acting Mayor of Bekasi. Tri Adhianto's appointment follows the arrest of Rahmat Effendi in a silent operation by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"Today, Mr. Deputy (Mayor of Bekasi) was summoned to Bandung because we had submitted his letter of appointment as Acting Mayor of Bekasi. So with that letter he can perform public services, sign documents. Then there are legal matters because there should be no vacancies law," said Ridwan Kamil at the Pakuan State Building, Bandung, Antara, Friday, January 7.
The submission of the assignment letter also followed up on the letter from the Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian to the West Java Provincial Government regarding this matter.
