All Religious Experts Have Been Asked About Ferdinand Hutahaean's 'Your God Is Weak'

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has again examined five experts in the alleged case of spreading hoaxes involving former Democrat Party politician, Ferdinand Hutahaean. So far, 15 witnesses and experts have been questioned by the police.

"Today's agenda is that investigators at the Cyber Bareskrim Polri will examine 5 more witnesses or 5 expert witnesses and are in the process. So by examining 5 (experts, ed) there are 15 witnesses. Consisting of 5 witnesses and 10 expert witnesses," said Karo Penmas Police Public Relations Division Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Friday, January 7.

The experts examined were experts from all religions. They were asked for their opinion on Ferdinand Hutahaean's tweet on his Twitter account.

"There are additional expert witnesses from several religions, yes, we just haven't been able to (name of expert, ed). Witnesses of Islam, Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism," said Ramadhan.

On the other hand, Ramadhan also emphasized that the investigation process carried out by his party would be thorough and professional. Moreover, they will not look at the status of Ferdinand Hutahaean as a former Democrat politician.

"Of course we do this carefully and professionally," said Ramadhan.

For information, Ferdinand Hutahaean will also be examined in this case on Monday, January 10. However, in the examination Ferdinand's status was still as a witness.

Ferdinand Hutahaean was reported on suspicion of spreading hoaxes or blasphemy to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police. The report follows his tweet on his Twitter account @FerdinandHaean3 about Allahmu Weak'.

Ferdinand is suspected of violating Article 45 a paragraph 2 in conjunction with Article 28 paragraph 2, Law 11 of 2008 concerning ITE, and Article 14 paragraph 1 and paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code.
