Residents Exposed To Omicron, One RT In Duren Sawit In Antigen Swab

JAKARTA - Dozens of residents of RT 11/04, Klender Village, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta underwent a mass swab test because one of the residents was confirmed to have COVID-19, the Omicron variant.

One by one the residents' houses were visited by officers from the Duren Sawit Health Center and Satpol PP officers from Klender Village. These residents were asked to take a mass PCR swab following the presence of one of the residents suspected of being exposed to the Omicron variant.

Aprianti, a family member of the patient exposed to Omicron, said that before it was confirmed that Omicron was confirmed, her brother had symptoms of a dry cough.

"Symptoms of a dry cough, went to the Duren Sawit health center and was given medicine to be sent home," said Aprianti, the sister of the patient who was exposed to COVID-19, Friday, December 7.

After going to the puskesmas and doing an antigen swab test and PCR, it was found out that his brother got the positive result.

"The next day, they were told to do an antigen swab, the result was positive, then the PCR test was positive," he said.

The officer immediately reported and picked up the confirmed patient immediately. The exposed patient will undergo treatment at the Wisma Atlet.

"He has been taken to the Athlete's House. The family tested negative. Yesterday, all of them were swab in one RT. It is suspected that the patient was exposed at work, in a restaurant or restaurant," he said.

However, the local kelurahan plans to spray in RT 11/04, Klender. In fact, officers will also carry out a local lockdown if there are other residents who are confirmed to have COVID-19.
