Task Force Prepares Scheme For Implementing Marriage Reception Process For Mayor Of Palangka Raya Fairid Naparin

PALANGKA RAYA - The Task Force (Satgas) for Handling COVID-19 in Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan has prepared a security scheme for implementing health protocols during Mayor Fairid Naparin's wedding reception.

"Preparations related to the mayor's wedding reception have been prepared and the Task Force team is part of the committee to ensure the implementation of the prokes and anticipate the occurrence of crowds," said the Daily Head of the Palangka Raya City COVID-19 Task Force, Emi Abriyani, quoted by Antara, Thursday, January 6.

The wedding reception of Mayor Fairid Naparin and his wife Avina Triani Almira will be held on January 8 and 9, 2022.

The event on January 8 was held at the mayor's office, inviting the entire local community. Meanwhile, on January 9, it was held in one of the meeting buildings.

The second day of the reception was devoted to invited guests for local officials in the Provinces of Central Kalimantan and South Kalimantan.

Emi said that every invited guest who came was required to comply with health protocols, especially wearing masks. In addition, the Task Force team also provided masks and hand sanitizers at the entrance to the office.

Right in front of the entrance, the committee also provides a tent as a waiting room so that guests entering the office do not exceed capacity. The Palangka Raya mayor's wedding reception also did not provide on-site dining.

"Food is provided in boxes so there is no eating on the spot. Salaman is also not allowed. Only 'namaste' greetings are like an adaptation of new habits in the new normal order," he said.

Previously, the Mayor of Palangka Raya, Fairid Naparin, also invited the public to attend his wedding reception.

However, the youngest regional head in Central Kalimantan Province asked the community to continue to comply with every existing provision. This includes always keeping a distance and implementing strict health protocols to anticipate the spread of COVID-19.
