On Tuesday, January 4, President Jokowi gave directives that the Bill on the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS) be ratified immediately. Even though it has become the president's attention, Deputy Speaker of the DPR, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, emphasized that the DPR already has the initiative. However, due to technical problems, the TPKS Bill has not yet been finalized. He also emphasized that the DPR wants this bill to be a perfect and good product of legislation.
