TANGERANG - The Tangerang, Banten District Attorney's Office noted that for one year in 2021, 696 criminal investigations were carried out (SPDP).

The Head of the General Criminal Section (Kasi) of the Tangerang Kejari, Muhtar, in Tangerang, Tuesday, January 4, said that throughout 2021, 694 of the 696 cases had been executed.

"Since 2021, which from the start of the investigation and investigation or SPDP, there have been 696 cases. And 694 cases have been executed by the court, this execution has also been combined from the previous year or in 2020 which has not been completed," he said as quoted by Antara. .

According to him, of the 696 cases handled by his party, the average was dominated by narcotics crime cases, namely 182 cases.

"The dominance of SPDP in 2021 is 182 narcotics cases, for other cases or related to property and not general crimes as many as 514 cases," he also said. and the evidence contained about 563 cases. As for the delegation of suspect narcotics cases, as many as 184 cases out of 563 cases.

"Regarding the delegation or P21 to be submitted to the trial, as many as 563, for narcotics cases the same number is 184 which has been declared P21," he said again.

He added, the obstacle in handling cases handled by the Tangerang Kejari so far is that there are still SPDPs from police investigators that have not been fulfilled. This can slow down the process of handling existing cases.

"So, why is it not in accordance with the SPDP that was received, maybe our position is only accepting the SPDP. And who knows, maybe the police have carried out restorative justice or restorative settlement or peace has been carried out at the police," he said.
