The National Police Has No Problem With Novel Baswedan Organizing At The IM57+ Institute, As Long As You Don't Break The Rules

JAKARTA - The National Police has no problem with the former KPK employees who have the status of the Bhayangkara Corps State Civil Apparatus (ASN) who are organized at IM57+ Institute. The National Police welcomes former KPK employees as long as they do not violate the rules in force at the Police.

"As long as you don't violate the rules, go ahead," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, to reporters, Tuesday, January 4.

But if the rules are not allowed to organize, Novel must quit the organization.

However, Ramadhan did not specify whether there were rules related to this matter. It is only emphasized that all members of the National Police, including ASN, must obey the applicable rules.

"We will first see if ASN members have rules within the police themselves. As long as they are allowed to do so, then go ahead," he said.

"But if there are rules or laws that are violated, of course they can't," he continued.

For information, Novel Baswedan and his friends have officially become National Police ASN. They are placed in the field of prevention at the Directorate of Corruption Crimes at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

However, Novel is also active in the IM57+ Institute organization. He is on the organization's Advisory Board.

IM57+ Institute is an organization formed by a former employee of the anti-corruption commission who was expelled after failing to become a state civil servant (ASN) through the National Insight Test Assessment (TWK).
