JAKARTA - The body of the Poso terrorist wanted list (DPO), Ahmad Panjang alias Ahmad Gazali, arrived at the Bhayangkara Hospital in Palu, at around 18.47 WITA, Tuesday, December 4. Ahmad Panjang alias Ahmad Gazali was taken in an ambulance belonging to the Central Sulawesi Police. and received a tight guard from the police. A number of media crew were also not allowed to approach the morgue, where the body of the MIT Poso DPO will be autopsied. As previously reported, the Madago Raya Operations Task Force was involved in a gunfight incident with the East Indonesia Mujahidin (MIT) terrorist DPO Poso , Central Sulawesi, Tuesday, around 10.30 WITA.

A gun battle took place at the Dusun Uempasa Dam, Dolago Village, Parigi Moutong Regency. From the incident, it was reported that one DPO suspected of being Ahmad Panjang alias Ahmad Gazali was shot dead. With the death of Ahmad Panjang alias Ahmad Gazali, there are still three members of MIT Poso who are included in the DPO, namely Askar alias Jaid alias Pak Guru, Nae alias Galuh alias Muklas , and Suhardin alias Hasan Pranata. The three Poso MIT DPOs are suspected to be still wandering in the mountains of Poso, Parigi Moutong and Sigi districts.
