South Jakarta Satpol PP Deposits Fines For Prokes Violators January - December 2021, To The DKI Jakarta Provincial BPKAD

JAKARTA - Throughout January to December 2021, the South Jakarta Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) has recorded the number of violators of health protocols (prokes) when doing activities outside the home. It was recorded that there were 92,620 people who were prosecuted by the Satpol PP for violating the prokes.

"In total, there are 92,620 violators (not wearing masks). 91,741 social work sanction violators. 879 violators pay administrative fines," said South Jakarta Head of the Satpol PP, Ujang Hermawan in a statement, Saturday, January 1.

In the report, it was written that Rp. 126,200,000 was collected from 879 prokes violators as an administrative fine. The fine is directly transferred by the violator to the account of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) of DKI Jakarta Province through Bank DKI.

Ujang said that the most common prokes violators who did not use masks were found in several traditional markets in the South Jakarta area.

"It's a place for public facilities such as markets, many are found not wearing masks. Every morning and evening at the Kebayoran Lama Market, including the Sunday Market," said Ujang.

The following are details of prokes violations throughout 2021 in South Jakarta:

1. Masks (Individual) - Social Work = 91,741 Offenders - Administrative Fines = 879 Offenders Total Violations 92,620 Offenders with a fine of Rp.126.200.000.

2. Disbandment Crowd = 335 Violations - Written Warning = 18 Violations Total Violations = 353 Violations

3. Food and Drink Business Places - Disbandment = 231 Violations - Written Warning = 1,258 Violations - Temporary Closure 1x24 Hours = 353 Violations - Temporary Closure 3x24 Hours = 180 Violations - Temporary Closure 7x24 Hours And Fines = 3 Violations - Administrative Fines = 11 Violations - Temporary Suspension/Revocation of Permit = 1 Violation - Nominal Administrative Fine = Rp. 193,500,000 Total Violations = 2,037 Violations

4. Office - Written Warning = 102 Violations - Temporary Closure 1x24 Hours = 5 Violations - Temporary Closure 3x24 Hours = 16 Violations - Temporary Suspension/Revocation of Permits = 12 Violations Total violations 135 violators and 7,640 Offices where no violations were found

5. Other Business Places -Written Warning = 214 Violations -Temporary Closure 1x24 Hours = 3 Violations - Temporary Closure 3x24 Hours = 62 Violations - Administrative Fines = 2 Violations - Temporary Suspension/Revocation of Permit = 5 Violations - Nominal Administrative Fines = Rp. 50,000,000. Total Violations = 284 Violations.

"In the future, for us together with city-level leaders, then the sub-district and village heads communicate, to jointly make the situation in the market under control regarding the use of masks. Because this market is needed by the community to meet basic needs," explained Ujang.
