The First Dose Of Vaccination In Purbalingga Is 76 Percent, The Second Dose Is Only 56 Percent

PURWOKERTO - The Health Office of Purbalingga Regency, Central Java informed that the achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in the local area to date was recorded at 76.30 percent of the 778,743 target.

"As many as 594,217 residents in the local area have been injected with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine since the mass vaccination program began. This number means 76.30 percent of the target 778,743 vaccination targets in this region," said Head of the Purbalingga Health Office Jusi Febrianto when contacted from Purwokerto, reported by Antara, Friday, December 31.

Meanwhile, as many as 436,165 or 56.01 percent of residents have received two doses of complete vaccination. In addition, as many as 2,904 health workers have received the third dose of vaccination.

He also added that the vaccination coverage for the elderly group in the local area also continued to increase.

"To date, the total vaccination for the elderly is 66,454 or has reached 67.20 percent of the target of 98,887 elderly targets in this region," he said.

"Vaccination achievements continue to increase significantly following the efforts to accelerate vaccination carried out by the Purbalingga Regency Government together with all relevant agencies. The Purbalingga Regency Government together with the TNI and Polri continue to carry out a number of strategic efforts, such as mass vaccination to pick-up vaccinations," he said.

He added, so that vaccination coverage continues to increase, his party invites the community to play an active role in the success of this program.

"Of course the vaccination program requires maximum efforts and full support from the entire community in this region," he said.

Regarding the accelerated vaccination program, he said, his party also reminded residents who have not been vaccinated to immediately register for the COVID-19 vaccination program at the nearest Puskesmas.

"Residents can also contact health cadres such as village midwives. In addition, they can also contact Babinsa or Babinkamtibmas in their respective areas," he said.
