PTSL Extortion Case, Head Of Banyuglugur Situbondo Village Sent To Detention

SITUBONDO – The village head of Banyuglugur Situbondo with the initials SR (52) was taken into custody for a case of illegal levies for the 2017 Complete System Land Registration (PTSL) program. In addition to the village head in this case, SM (56) as the treasurer of PTSL was also detained.

Situbondo Head of Special Prosecutor's Office (Kejari) of Situbondo, Reza Aditya Wardhana, said that investigators from the Corruption Crimes at the Situbondo Police were delegating the second stage of the alleged extortion of PTSL in Banyuglugur Village/District, Situbondo.

"After the file was examined, it was stated that the second P-21 was immediately detained and we put it in the Class II B Situbondo Rutan. Since the file is already P-21, the alleged PTSL extortion case will be tried at the Surabaya Corruption Court," he said, Friday, 31 December.

He said the two alleged extortion suspects were charged with Article 12 (e) of the Corruption Eradication Law.

"The two suspects committed extortion against their citizens, with nominal amounts outside the provisions of the 2017 Banyuglgur Village/District PTSL program. As a result of the suspect's actions, state losses were around Rp. 430 million," said Reza.
