Mataram Hospital Alerts 24 Hour Healthcare Workers During New Year's Holiday, Including Specialist Doctors

MATARAM - The Mataram City Regional General Hospital, West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) has prepared a 24-hour schedule for health workers (nakes) during the 2022 new year holiday, so that the community can be served optimally.

"The New Year's holiday does not affect our services, because we have prepared a schedule for health workers, including specialist doctors who are on standby 24 and ready to serve the community," said the Managing Director of the Mataram City Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Ni Ketut Eka Nurhayati in Mataram, Antara, Wednesday, December 29.

According to him, during the New Year's holiday on January 1-2, 2022, services that are closed are only at the polyclinic or for outpatient care, while emergency patient services are still served to the emergency department (IGD).

"So we have prepared the schedule for taking care of the health workers," he said.

On the other hand, the Mataram City Hospital also has a public service center (PSC) 119 Mataram Emergency Medical Service (MEMS) team, which can provide health care services at home during holidays.

Health services at home through 119 at the Mataram Hospital during the New Year holiday, he said, continued to run normally with schedule arrangements for the officers.

"PSC 119 is one of the breakthroughs that contributes to emergency management, especially pre-hospital emergency management or before service users receive treatment at the hospital," he said, adding.

Eka said that his party also prepared services after the New Year holidays to avoid long queues, because usually after the holidays there was an increase in regular patient visits at the polyclinic up to two times.

"When conditions are normal, the rate of regular patient visits can reach around 500 more," said Eka.
