Not Only Removed, The Former Sepatan Police Chief Is Now In Custody

JAKARTA - AKP Oky Bekti Wibowo who was involved in the methamphetamine type of drug case was not only removed from his position as the Head of the Sepatan Police, Tangerang. Currently, AKP Oky is being held for questioning by the Profession and Security Division (Propam) of the Polda Metro Jaya.

"Then the person concerned has been detained today at the Polda Metro Jaya. The person concerned is handled by the Propam Bid of the Polda Metro Jaya," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, December 29.

Zulpan emphasized that the Polda Metro Jaya did not hesitate to give sanctions to its members who violated it. Moreover, in this case AKP Oky was involved in a drug case.

"Regarding violations committed in accordance with the commitment of the National Police leadership, there is no tolerance for Polri members who use drugs," said Zulpan.

For information, AKP Oky Bekti Wibowo was removed from the position of the Head of the Sepatan Police. Currently he has been transferred to Pama Yanma Polda Metro Jaya for examination.

The removal was stated in the Telegram Letter (ST) number ST/588/XII/KEP./2021. The dismissal was carried out because AKP Oky was involved in a case of drug abuse of methamphetamine type.
