JAKARTA - PT Angkasa Pura (AP) I Lombok International Airport has adjusted parking rates, both for two-wheeled, four-wheeled, six-wheeled vehicles, as well as overnight vehicles starting in early 2020.

"This vehicle tariff adjustment is carried out to improve parking services with the presence of the latest facilities that are more comfortable and guarantee a sense of security for service users," said General Manager of AP I Nugroho Jati in a written statement in Praya, NTB, Tuesday, December 28, as reported by Antara.

The parking rate adjustment at Lombok Airport is for two-wheeled vehicles, the old tariff is Rp. 3,000/one entry to Rp. 3,000/first hour and Rp. 1,000 for every subsequent hour until the 12th hour, Rp. 28,000 for over 12 hours or stay overnight.

As for four-wheelers, the old tariff is Rp. 5,000/first hour to Rp. 7,500/first hour. IDR 2,500 for each subsequent hour until the 12th hour, IDR 60,000 for above 12 hours up to 24 hours (stay).

"For six wheels, the old tariff is Rp. 10,000/first hour to Rp. 12,000/first hour and Rp. 3,000 for every subsequent hour until the 12th hour, Rp. 80,000 for over 12 hours up to 24 hours (stay)," he said.

He said parking rates at Lombok Airport have not been adjusted since 2013. This tariff adjustment must have been preceded by an increase in parking facilities and services provided.

Several new facilities that can already be used by service users at Lombok Airport include a two-story vehicle parking building with an area of 3,800 square meters that can accommodate as many as 1,421 motorbikes.

"The former two-wheeled vehicle parking area will be used as a parking area for taxis, online taxis and travel," he said.

In addition, his party also continues to maintain road markings, signs, toll gates, and other facilities.

"This parking rate adjustment is one of our efforts to adjust the development and maintenance of airport facilities with the current conditions of the airport," he said.
