BANDA ACEH - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) of Aceh Province arrested a number of civil servants (PNS) and contract employees during a drug and alcohol party in Jantho City, Aceh Besar District.

Head of the Aceh BNN Eradication Division AKBP Mirwazi in Banda Aceh, Monday, December 27, said that 11 people were arrested during the drug and alcohol party.

"Of the 11 people, some of them are civil servants and contract employees in government agencies. Then, three of them are young women," said AKBP Mirwazi.

The former Nagan Raya Police Chief said the raids and arrests of the alleged perpetrators of the drug and alcohol party originated from public information.

People reported that they were worried that there was suspicious activity in a house in Jantho Makmur Village, Jantho District, Aceh Besar District, said AKBP Mirwazi.

"Based on this information, Aceh Province BNN personnel investigated and raided the house on Sunday, December 26 at around 02.30 WIB," said AKBP Mirwazi.

During the raid, said AKBP Mirwazi, some of the alleged perpetrators were drunk. In the house there is also music playing such as a discotheque as well as several bottles of liquor.

"Then the team took them to the Aceh Provincial BNN Office in Banda Aceh. Furthermore, the 11 people underwent a urine test to determine whether they were taking drugs or not," said AKBP Mirwazi.

The results, said AKBP Mirwazi, six of them, consisting of five men and a woman tested positive for amphetamines. From the results of the examination, they admitted to taking drugs ineks.

Those who tested positive for the drug were AR (38), RF (31), ARN (30), HD (31), RS (26), and a woman with the initials RD (22). While the five who were negative were returned to their families, said AKBP Mirwazi.

AKBP Mirwazi said the house where they held a drug and alcohol party was far from residential areas. The house looks like it is in the forest.

"When viewed during the raid, the drug and alcohol party at the house seemed to have been going on for a long time. However, we will further investigate when the house became a place of illegal activities," said AKBP Mirwazi. This was reported by Antara.
