Acting Mayor Of Bandung Prepares To Rotate Officials, The Reason Is To Realize Oded's Promise

JAKARTA - The Acting Mayor of Bandung, West Java, Yana Mulyana will soon rotate a number of officials to complete the political promise of the Mayor of Bandung for the 2018-2023 period, Oded M Danial, who died last Friday, December 10.

The Bandung City Government needs officials who can be invited to accelerate the work of Oded's political promises that have not yet been fulfilled, namely in the fields of infrastructure, flood management, waste, and food security.

"As a leader, I received an evaluation from the council, so it's only natural that I also evaluate my staff," Yana said in Bandung, Monday, December 27, as reported by Antara.

He said evaluations, transfers and rotations of officials are reasonable to be carried out at the end of 2021. For officials who feel that their performance is good and have the ability, there is no need to worry about being replaced.

According to Yana, the evaluation up to the job rotation applies to echelon II, echelon III, echelon IV or at the level of the head of the field, the head of the service or the head of the section, to the regional secretary.

One of the programs that Yana has highlighted to complete is the food security program. Therefore, it requires officials who can work to fulfill food security in the city of Bandung.

"As is known, the food needs in the city of Bandung are mostly met by the regencies and cities around it," he said.

Yana Mulyana was appointed by West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil as Acting Mayor of Bandung after Oded's death. Yana herself previously accompanied Oded as Deputy Mayor of Bandung.
