30 Days Not Coming To Work, Central Lombok Police Brigadier Aries Pamuji Fired

JAKARTA - A member of the Central Lombok Police, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), Bripka Aries Pamuji, was dishonorably dismissed (PTDH) from the National Police for violating the code of ethics as a protector of the community.

"This dishonorable dismissal will be the first and last while I am the chief of the police," said Central Lombok Police Chief, AKBP Hery Indra Cahyono in a written statement, Monday, December 27, as reported by Antara.

This dismissal, he said, was a lesson for all Central Lombok Police personnel not to do things that could harm themselves, their families and the Police organization. In addition, it can be a motivation in the future to continue to carry out tasks and functions in accordance with the rules.

"Carry out our duties well for the benefit of society and the nation," he said.

He said that in the course of the National Police's duties, there would be many obstacles and problems, both from internal and external factors. However, if everyone knows their respective main tasks, it is hoped that the implementation of the tasks can be completed as it should.

"Give the best service to the community to give them a sense of security and comfort," he said.

The Head of Central Lombok Propam AKP Mardiasa explained that the dishonorable dismissal of the Police Service members of the Aries Brigades was carried out based on the Decree of the NTB Police Chief Number: Kep/563/X/2021 in violation of Article 14 paragraph (1) letter A, Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 1 of 2003 concerning the Dismissal of Members of the Indonesian National Police and Article 7 paragraph (1) letter C in the regulation of the National Police Chief number 14 of 2011 concerning the Police Professional Code of Ethics, namely leaving their duties illegally within more than 30 consecutive working days.

"The dishonorable discharge ceremony was not attended by the person concerned," he said.
