Deputy Governor Of DKI: No Problem Ancol Borrows Business Capital To Bank DKI

JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria emphasized that there is no problem with PT Pembangunan Jaya or Ancol borrowing business capital loans from Bank DKI for business development.

"BUMD sometimes needs development, it can be borrowed from a bank, whether it's a national bank or a normal DKI Bank. If Ancol needs an injection of funds and then borrows from a bank, as far as that project is possible, it's okay," said Riza, quoted by Antara, Friday, 24 December.

Therefore, Riza assessed that the matter of borrowing business capital credit is not a problem and does not need to be exaggerated.

"This means that as long as the project is visible, it's the right of the BUMD, he wants to borrow from any bank, it's normal. So there's nothing special, it's normal," said Riza.

It is known that the Ancol Dreamland Park area has officially become the location of the Jakarta Formula E race track in June 2022, preparations for making the electric car racing track have also been carried out.

Then, PT Pembangunan Jaya or Ancol has also received credit funds of IDR 1.2 trillion, one of which is to develop facilities.

The funds were given in stages with details of IDR 389 billion for Ancol's operational activities, IDR 516 billion for refinancing PUB II Bonds phase II, and IDR 334 billion for investment which includes financing and asset development.

Previously, the Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) of Bank DKI distributed loans worth IDR 1.2 trillion to Pembangunan Jaya Ancol. The funds will be used for various purposes, such as operations to the development of facilities at the tourist attractions.

The signing of the credit agreement was signed by the President Director of Jaya Ancol Development, Teuku Sahir Syahali, with the Finance Director of Bank DKI, Romy Wijayanto at Candi Bentar Ancol, North Jakarta, Monday, December 20.

Meanwhile, the signing of the memorandum of understanding for digital marketing services was carried out by the Director of Development of Jaya Ancol, Febrina Intan with the Director of UMK Credit and Sharia Business of Bank DKI Babay Parid Wazdi.

In addition to lending, Bank DKI and Ancol are also collaborating on a recreational ticket marketing cooperation, Taman Impian Jaya Ancol. Among them are marketing of recreation units, cooperation in ticket sales, and development of digital payment mechanisms.
