JAKARTYA - Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Sufmi Dasco Ahmad confirmed that a presidential letter (surpres) on the revision of the Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) Law had been officially sent to the Indonesian House of Representatives.

The presidential decree regarding the revision of the ITE Law was received by the leadership at the closing of the second session of the DPR for the 2021-2022 session, last Thursday, December 16.

Therefore, Dasco said, the revision of the new ITE Law will be processed during the next trial or after the opening of the trial period next year.
