MAKASSAR - The Indonesian Navy through the TNI AL VI Main Base (Lantamal VI Makassar) has deployed the Mamuju II-6-64 Naval Vessel to transport humanitarian aid from President Joko Widodo and BNPB for earthquake victims in Selayar, South Sulawesi.

The Commander of the Navy Ship (KAL) Mamuju II-6-64 Marine Major (P) Supriadi said the aid packages were transported and distributed using KAL Mamuju based on orders from KSAL Admiral TNI Yudo Margono through Danlantamal VI First Admiral Benny Sukandari.

"On the orders of KSAL Admiral TNI Yudo Margono through Lantamal VI Commander First Admiral Benny Sukandari, we will transport direct aid to be distributed to victims of the earthquake on Selayar Island," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 22.
