Ganjar Pranowo Salip Prabowo's Electability In The Charta Politica Survey

JAKARTA - The survey institute Charta Politika released the results of the latest survey on the electability of presidential candidates. As a result, the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, succeeded in overtaking the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, who has always been in first place in surveys of other institutions.

Executive Director of Charta Politica Indonesia, Yunarto Wijaya explained, if a presidential election was held by presenting 10 names, Ganjar Pranowo would be in the top position. The second position is Prabowo Subianto, followed by the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan.

"Ganjar Pranowo 28.2 percent, Prabowo Subianto 23.8 percent, Anies R Baswedan 19.6 percent", Yunarto said in a survey presentation, Monday, December 20.

The fourth position is filled by Sandiaga S Uno 5.8 percent, the fifth Ridwan Kamil 5.8 percent, the sixth Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono 2.8 percent, seventh, Khofifah Indar Parawansa 2.1 percent.

Eighth position, Erick Thohir 1.8 percent, ninth Puan Maharani 1.1 percent and tenth Airlangga Hartarto 1.0 percent. Meanwhile, respondents said they did not know 8.2 percent.

Meanwhile, if 5 names are chosen, the top three positions will still be filled with the same character. The survey results show that the first place is Ganjar Pranowo 30.2 percent, the second Prabowo Subianto 25.8 percent, and the third Anies R Baswedan 22.3 percent.

Followed by Sandiaga S Uno 7.1 percent and Ridwan Kamil 5.9 percent. Meanwhile, stating that they do not know 8.8 percent.

"In the simulation of 5 names, Ganjar Pranowo got the highest electability", said Yunarto.

The Charta Politica survey was conducted in the period from November 29 to December 6, 2021, through face-to-face interviews using a structured questionnaire.

The number of samples involved was 1,200 respondents and spread across 34 provinces.

The methodology used is a multistage random sampling method with a margin of error of ± 2.83 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
