The Proceeds From The Extortion Of K Guru Indragiri Hulu From The School Principal Are Rp.650 Million

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office has revealed that the results of the alleged extortion carried out by the Head of the Indragiri Hulu District Attorney, Riau, Hayin Suhikto (HS) and his colleagues are worth IDR650 million.

Hayin and his colleagues are suspected of extorting 64 junior high school principals in the local area regarding the management of the 2019 School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds.

"The total provisional total is almost Rp. 650 million. This is because it is still being investigated. Therefore, the total is still in the process of being investigated," said Kapuspenkum of the Attorney General's Office, Hari Setiyono to reporters, Tuesday, August 18.

Hayin's colleague in this action was the Head of the Special Crimes Section of the Indragiri Hulu Public Prosecutor's Office, OAP and RFR as the Head of the Booty Sub-Section in the management of evidence and booty section of the Indragiri Hulu Public Prosecution Service.

What they did was extortion was asking to hand over part of the BOS funds. They blackmailed them by frightening the principal that the use of BOS funds was misappropriation.

"It is suspected that each school principal gave Rp. 10 million, Rp. 15 million and so on," said Hari.

For their actions, these three people have been made suspects by the AGO. For their actions, the three suspects were suspected of violating article 12 letter e or article 5 paragraph 2 junto paragraph 1 letter b Law number 31 of 1999 concerning the eradication of criminal acts of corruption as amended by Law number 20 of 2001 in conjunction with article 55 paragraph 1 1 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, three other prosecutors are also suspected of being involved in this case. It's just that they aren't suspects yet. The AGO has just removed the three people from their posts.

They are Kasidatun; Head of Management of evidence and booty; and the Head of Sub-Section for booty at the management of evidence and booty at the Indragiri Hulu Public Prosecutor's Office.
