White Mercedes Benz Driver In Senayan Dies After Hitting Angsana Tree

JAKARTA - NZZ, a white luxury car driver was found dead when he was involved in a single accident on Jalan Asia Afrika, Senayan, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta.

The accident occurred on Thursday, December 16, at night, around 23.40 WIB.

"The victim was driving a Mercedes Benz sedan. It is suspected that the driver of the vehicle was not careful when turning around," said Head of Sub-Directorate of Gakkum, Dirlantas Polda Metro Jaya AKBP Argo Wiyono when confirmed, Friday, December 17.

The accident started when the victim was crossing from the south to the north on Jalan Asia Afrika. While at the scene, the victim allegedly lacked concentration and hit the pavement while turning around.

"Finally the left tire hit the pavement, then the vehicle swerved to the right and hit the Angsana tree in the park," he said.

As a result of the single accident, the luxury car suffered damage to the roof. The final position of the vehicle is tilted upside down with the right wheel on top.

The victim was evacuated to the Mintoharjo Naval Hospital (RSAL), but the victim died.

"The body has been brought to the RSCM for investigation purposes," he said.
