JAKARTA - AirNav Indonesia ensures that until now the operation of flight navigation services in locations close to the earthquake in the Flores Sea, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is still running normally.

Yohanes said that AirNav Indonesia had collected operational information and data at all work locations that were allegedly affected by the earthquake, including the Ende Sub-Branch, Maumere Unit, Larantuka Unit, Lewoleba Unit, and Alor Unit.

The results of the BMKG analysis show that the earthquake has an updated parameter with a magnitude of 7.4. The epicenter of the earthquake was located at coordinates 7.59 South Latitude and 122.24 East Longitude, or precisely located at sea at a distance of 112 km northwest of Larantuka City, NTT at a depth of 10 km.

This earthquake was felt in the areas of Ruteng, Labuan Bajo, Larantuka, Maumere, Adonara and Lembata III – IV MMI, Tambolaka, Waikabubak, Waingapu III MMI.

According to the BMKG, the modeling results show that this earthquake has the potential for a tsunami, with a threat level of alert in Northern East Flores, Sikka Island, northern Sikka and Lembata Island.
