JAKARTA - The police have arrested the perpetrators of the robbery at Indogadai Jagakarsa, South Jakarta. In fact, during the arrest process, the perpetrator was shot in the leg

"Coincidentally, 2 officers from the Jagakarsa Police passed by and saw the crowd and saw the suspect threatening the people around him to back down," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan to reporters, Tuesday, December 14.

Strict action had to be taken because the perpetrators resisted. Moreover, at that time the perpetrator with the initials D (22) carried an airsoft gun.

"The warning shot was ignored by the suspect, then members tried to deactivate it by pushing inside," said Zulpan.

"But the suspect resisted so he had to be paralyzed. There was one gunshot wound to the suspect's leg which the police carried out in a firm and measured way," continued Zulpan. After being shot in the leg, the perpetrator stopped fighting and was arrested. From the hands of the perpetrators, Rp. 33 million in cash and 1 unit of CCTV server were confiscated in his bag.

With the robbery, the perpetrator was charged with Article 365 Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code. Thus, the sentence is 12 years in prison.

Previously, Indogadai Jagakarsa was visited by robbers on Monday, December 13. In fact, the robbery action went viral on social media.

However, the robbery by D (22) failed in the hands of residents and surrounding areas. In fact, the perpetrators were beaten by the masses.
