Bank BTN Prints More Than 24 Thousand Young Developers

JAKARTA - PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has produced more than 24,000 young prospective developers by August 2020. Tens of thousands of graduates are part of a training program in the property sector initiated by Bank BTN to encourage sustainable property business growth in Indonesia. .

President Director of Bank BTN Pahala Nugraha Mansury said the company continues to innovate to support the growth of the housing ecosystem in Indonesia. By creating young developers, continued Pahala, it is Bank BTN's strategy to increase the supply of quality affordable housing.

"As many as 24,000 people who have graduated from the training we hold are expected to become young developers who have competences in both theory and practice in the property sector," Pahala explained in his written statement, Saturday, August 15.

Meanwhile, on the same occasion, Pahala also graduated for 168 students of the Mini MBA program in Property Bank BTN. In total, this specialist housing bank has graduated 752 prospective developers from the program.

According to Pahala, the graduates of the Mini MBA program are also expected to support the One Million Houses program launched by the government to overcome the housing backlog in the country.

"Of course, we hope that these young prospective developers can encourage and become a driver of growth in the property business," he explained.

This Mini MBA in Property program is the result of collaboration between Bank BTN and SBM ITB. The comprehensive education program refers to the four pillars of property development, namely land and environment, capital, law and skills.

This program is part of the Housing Finance Center (HCF) of Bank BTN. The HFC entity was established to develop various research and training for the purpose of developing a housing ecosystem in Indonesia.

Pahala explained that in addition to the Mini MBA in Property program, Bank BTN has also designed various programs to produce quality developers. Among other things, Bank BTN is holding an Indonesian Master Developer Program and a School of Property Developer. The company also held various trainings including literacy training for 10,000 Young Entrepreneurs in Property.
