JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff Moeldoko appreciates the Legislative Body (Baleg) of the DPR which has approved the Bill on the Crime of Sexual Violence (TPKS). He said the people's aspirations had been heard by members of the DPR RI.
"The Legislative Council has succeeded in capturing the aspirations that developed in the community and translating the reality and data about sexual violence into a strong commitment to prevent and eradicate sexual violence," said Moeldoko in a written statement, Saturday, December 11.
Furthermore, KSP initiated the formation of a cross-ministerial/institutional task force so that discussions can be carried out effectively so that this law is immediately ratified.
