MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police have arrested a suspected methamphetamine retailer in Karang Bagu, Mataram City, with the initials ST (35), with 23 packages of evidence ready for distribution.

Director of Narcotics Investigation (Dirresnarkoba) of the NTB Polda Kombes Helmi Kwarta Kusuma Putra Rauf said that his arrest was successfully carried out thanks to information from the public.

"This perpetrator has been targeted for a long time. However, thanks to reports from the community that he (ST) often operates at the location of the arrest, our team immediately moved and arrested the perpetrator and the evidence," said Helmi, quoted by Antara, Friday, December 10.

Members arrested the perpetrator when he was in one of the small alleys in the Karang Bagu area. The perpetrator was arrested, Thursday, December 9 night. The police suspect that the perpetrators intend to carry out the transaction of illegal goods.

From his arrest, 23 pockets of methamphetamine of various sizes were found. Among other things, six small pockets with a gross weight of 2.97 grams; 10 medium pockets with a gross weight of 2.16 grams; and seven large pockets, 2.38 grams.

"The total amount of evidence that we confiscated was 7.51 grams," said Kombes Helmi.

In addition to drugs, the police confiscated two cell phones belonging to ST. Cash, which was allegedly the result of a transaction of Rp. 1.8 million, was also confiscated.

"There is also a device for smoking methamphetamine," he said.
