ACEH - The Banda Aceh City Government has launched an online integrated birth certificate service program (Pelita Hati) to provide convenience and acceleration in making birth certificates for babies born in hospitals.
"Banda Aceh residents who gave birth at the Aceh Mother and Child Hospital (RSIA) immediately received a birth certificate," said Head of Banda Aceh Population and Civil Registration (Disdukcapil) Emila Sovayana, in Banda Aceh, Antara, Friday, December 10.
The program is the result of a collaboration between Disdukcapil Banda Aceh and RSIA in the context of accelerating and making it easier for babies to have birth certificates.
With this program, said Emila, the baby's parents no longer need to take care of it at the Disdukcapil because it has been processed directly by the RSIA, they only need to prepare the required requirements.
"The condition is that the parents or family of a newborn baby must prepare a birth certificate from the hospital, a photocopy of the parent's ID card, a photocopy of the family card and a photocopy of the witness, and a birth certificate, KK and KIA will be given later," he said.
Emila said that the service was also free of charge or provided. Moreover, this program has received full support from the Mayor of Banda Aceh, Aminullah Usman.
Meanwhile, the Director of RSIA Aceh, Dr. Munawar, thanked the Disdukcapil of Banda Aceh City for facilitating RSIA in the Pelita Hati program.
Munawar said, this collaboration is a good thing because it makes it easier for parents who give birth at RSIA to process their child's birth certificate.
"This collaboration is very good, it means that families are no longer difficult to get birth certificates, because the hospital has taken care of it directly online. So when you leave the hospital, you will immediately have a birth certificate, family card, and KIA,” said Munawar.
