TransJakarta Opens New Route For Jakarta International Stadium - Harmoni

JAKARTA - PT Transport Jakarta (TransJakarta) opened a new route for the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) to Harmoni as a step to provide transportation access to the stadium in Papanggo, North Jakarta.

The opening of the new route follows up on the Decree of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Transportation Service Number 352 of 2021 regarding the Trial of Access to Public Transportation Services for the Jakarta International Stadium Route by BUMD TransJakarta.

"We support the government's program to provide transportation that is integrated with JIS to make it easier for people who want to go to JIS," said Angelina Betris, Head of the Corporate Secretary and Public Relations Division of TransJakarta, quoted by Antara, Thursday, December 9.

In addition, he continued, the opening of the route is a form of collaboration between BUMDs in the DKI Jakarta environment to jointly provide the best service to the community.

Regarding this new route, he considered the need for socialization to the public if they wanted to visit JIS.

The new route provides two medium fleets that serve customers and operate from Monday to Friday at 06.00-10.00 western Indonesia time and in the afternoon from 15.00-21.00 western Indonesia time with a fare of Rp3,500 one-way and a travel time of 20 minutes.

TransJakarta also plans to provide three more routes for people who want to go to JIS, namely from Kebon Jeruk, Warung Buncit, and UKI.

This route has been integrated with 5 TransJakarta BRT routes, namely Corridor 1 (Blok M - Kota), Corridor 3 (Kalideres - Pasar Baru), Corridor 5 (Kampung Melayu - Ancol), and Corridor 12 (Tanjung Priok - Pluit).

The JIS-Harmoni TransJakarta route includes: Halte Harmoni - Juanda Street - POS Street - Dr. Sutomo Street - Gunung Sahari Street - Underpass Angkasa Street - HBR Motik Street - West Sunter Lake Street - JIS.
