JAKARTA - The Laboratory and Forensic Center (Puslabfor) of the National Police Headquarters conducted a crime scene (TKP) related to the deaths of five people in one family due to a fire on Jalan Tambora 1, RT 10/02, Tambora Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta.

Puslabfor arrived to conduct an investigation regarding the cause of the deadly fire in the area. Puslabfor will take some samples of evidence from the crime scene.

"Today, the puslabfor team for the Criminal Investigation Unit at the National Police Headquarters carried out a scene analysis of the fire incident that occurred yesterday morning. Charcoal ashes from the fire and burnt cables from the crime scene were taken for samples," Tambora Police Chief Kompol Moh Faruk Rozi told reporters, Thursday 9 December.

Currently, the Tambora Police have collected nine witnesses. Those who were examined were residents who were in the vicinity of the location. While one of them is a survivor of the deadly fire incident.

"Today we are adding two more witnesses. We are asking for information, so all 9 witnesses have been questioned," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a fire occurred in four houses in a densely populated area of Jalan Tambora 1, RT 10/02, Tambora Village, Tambora District, West Jakarta.
