JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta government has confirmed that it will implement Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) for 10 days towards the end of the year, from December 24, 2021 to January 2, 2022.
The decision was contained in the Decree of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Number 1430 of 2021 concerning the Implementation of Level 3 COVID-19 Community Activity Restrictions which followed up on the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 62 of 2021 concerning Prevention and Control of COVID-19 at Christmas and the New Year of 2022.
"Stipulates the implementation of restrictions on community activities in Level 3 'Corona Virus Disease 2019' 2019 for 10 (ten) days starting from December 24, 2021, to January 2, 2022," reads Governor's Decree (Kepgub) 1430 in the first dictum quoted in Jakarta, Tuesday, December 7.
The Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan has signed the Decree since December 2, 2021, and will take effect on December 24, 2021.
Previously, Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria said that increasing the level of PPKM must be faced and carried out to suppress the transmission of COVID-19 during Christmas and the 2022 New Year.
