JAKARTA - The Association of Habib and Ulama throughout Central Java, who are members of the Sunnah Waljamaah experts, held a public hearing with Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives in the Nusantara II building, Commission III meeting room of the House of Representatives, Jakarta, Monday, December 6.

In this hearing, they asked the Commission in charge of law to be present in cases of human rights violations, in particular Habib Rizieq Shihab to Munarman.

One of the representatives of the Expert Sunnah Waljamaah, Al Hadi, said that he came to Commission III of the DPR to explain the case of the Bogor Ummi Hospital which ensnared Habib Rizieq. He hopes that members of Commission III of the DPR will also pay attention to the so-called discriminatory treatment of Habib Rizieq.

"Our arrival to this honorable place is in the hope that the representatives of the people are also sensitive to feel how so that discriminatory treatments can be stopped immediately. Bad labeling of Muslims and Islamic teachings as has been experienced by Al-Habib Muhammad Rizieq Shihab, Al Habib Muhammad Hanif Alatas and Dr. Andi Tatat in the case of the UMMI Hospital, where all three were found guilty legally only for explaining the health of Al-Habib Muhammad Habib Rizieq Shihab with the phrase 'it's fine'," he said at the meeting.

In addition, he also mentioned the arrest of Munarman on suspicion of terrorism. He asked Commission III of the DPR to also pay attention to the issue of terrorism.

"We habaib and the Sunnah Waljamaah ulema forum want to hear the words of Commission III of the DPR regarding the arrests that occurred in Brother Munarman and the recent arrests of 3 clerics which eventually led to the emergence of several parties who wanted to dissolve MUI, which incidentally MUI is a forum for all Muslims. Indonesian Islam. Therefore, we from the forum of Indonesian clerics and habaib in the Central Java region intend to arouse the conscience of the people through Commission III of the DPR so that they do not just remain silent, "he said.

Meanwhile, Abdul Rouf from Sragen questioned the legal case that ensnared Habib Rizieq. Because, he only heard about the problem with Habib Rizieq's confession that his health condition was fine after undergoing treatment at Ummi Hospital, Bogor.

He suspects that if the application of punishment only refers to this, then it is not impossible that many other clerics with similar conditions could be subject to legal proceedings like Habib Rizieq.

"We request that members of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Commission III, must attend this matter. They must attend to contribute to the position he is currently in," said Rouf.

In line with Abdul Rouf, Ustaz Rofi also mentioned whether the legal process suffered by Habib Rizieq was different from the legal process in general. He requested that this law be clarified by Commission III of the DPR.

"We convey it with a heavy heart but this brings the good name of the people's representatives, especially Commission III, so it needs to be responded to and clarified. We hope that Al-Habib is released without conditions," said Ustaz Rofi.
