Bandung Polrestabes Implement Odd-Even At 8 Points At The End Of The Year

BANDUNG - Traffic Unit (Satlantas) Polrestabes Bandung, West Java, implemented an odd-even blocking system at eight points at the end of 2021 when the implementation of level 3 community activity restrictions (PPKM) was implemented.

Head of the Unit Kamsel Satlantas Polrestabes Bandung AKP Asep Kusmana said the odd-even blocking was carried out to limit the mobility of people to the city of Bandung.

"But we are adjusting and waiting for the results of the Bandung City COVID-19 Task Force meeting, we support the government's policy," Asep said in Bandung, quoted by Antara, Thursday, December 2.

There are also eight odd-even blocking points, consisting of five toll gates and three access road points to the city of Bandung, including the Buahbatu, Muhammad Toha, Kopo, Pasir Koja, and Pasteur Toll Gate.

Then three odd-even points on the highway, namely at Ledeng, Cibiru Roundabout, and Cibereum. However, said Asep, the implementation of the Cibiru and Cibereum roundabouts would still be discussed at the task force meeting.

According to him, the odd-even implementation only applies on weekends from 06.00 WIB to 20.00 WIB. However, in Ledeng, the odd-even application only applies from 09.00 WIB to 15.00 WIB.

Asep said that later the odd-even application would only be applied to vehicles other than plate D or vehicles not from the Greater Bandung area.

Later, he said, a number of other administrative requirements that apply at odd-even points will be decided after a task force meeting is held.

"We will evaluate what it looks like, and tomorrow the limited meeting will be, how will the handling be for those who enter Bandung City," said Asep.
