The Strongest Prabowo Puan Duet In The 2024 Election Landscape Survey Version, Gerindra: Decisions Will Be Made At The Right Time

JAKARTA - Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani responded to the survey results of the Public Policy Survey and Analysis Institute (Lanskap) which stated that the level of electability of the Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto and DPR Speaker Puan Maharani was the strongest in the 2024 election.

According to him, the survey results are a portrait of people's desires which are still situational. However, said Muzani, the Gerindra Party is still considering various actual political conditions. They will act when the time is right.

"We will take political decisions at the right time in the right atmosphere," Muzani told reporters, Wednesday, December 1.

This, continued Muzani, is to predict all possibilities in order to produce the right decision.

"To be precise, surveys are one indicator or one way. There are many survey institutions, not just one, something like that," said Muzani.

Previously, the Institute for Public Policy Survey and Analysis (Lanskap) noted that the electability of Gerindra General Chair Prabowo Subianto was still in the lead even though many voters expressed disappointment because they joined the government.

"Despite the issue of voter migration who is disappointed with Prabowo joining the Jokowi government, it seems that Prabowo's electability is still quite high," said Landscape Executive Director, Mochammad Thoha in Jakarta, Tuesday, November 30.

Landscape also asked questions about the simulation of the presidential and vice presidential candidates. The simulation results show a high level of electability for the pair in which Prabowo is the presidential candidate.

The highest Prabowo-Puan pair got 67.7 percent of the gains compared to 63.6 percent of Prabowo-Anies, 62.0 percent of Prabowo-Ganjar and 58.7 percent of Prabowo-Sandi.

"However, if it is reversed where Prabowo as the vice presidential candidate, the percentage of electability is much lower, but it is still the main choice in all simulations that place Prabowo as the vice presidential candidate. There is only a small percentage of the public choosing Prabowo for the vice presidential position and that there is a large proportion of the public choosing Prabowo as the presidential candidate," he explained.
