PAN Hears Cabinet Reshuffle Issues Held On Wednesday Pon, Gerindra Hands Over To Jokowi

JAKARTA - Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Gerindra Party, Ahmad Muzani, emphasized that his party would hand over to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) regarding the discourse on a cabinet reshuffle that will be carried out in the near future. According to an issue called by a PAN politician, the reshuffle will take place on Wednesday Pon, December 8, next week.

"If Gerindra fully trusts President Jokowi to take any action as the holder as head of government," Muzani told reporters, Wednesday, December 1.

As president, Muzani reminded, Jokowi has the prerogative to reorganize his aides in the government.

"Whether we want to reshuffle any ministry, whose successor is, we will leave it entirely to the President because it is the president's prerogative, so we are not trying to influence, not trying, not at all. Anyway, we fully trust the President for that," said Muzani.

Previously, Deputy Chairman of PAN Yandri Susanto, admitted that he heard the news that President Joko Widodo would reshuffle his cabinet on Wednesday Pon, December 8, next week.

This was said by Yandri in response to news of a cabinet reshuffle, which was later widely rumored to be held at the end of this year.

"I also heard that the issue was like that (Wednesday Pon, December 8, ed), he said anyway," said Yandri at the DPR building, Tuesday, November 30.

Even so, the chairman of Commission VIII of the DPR emphasized that the cabinet reshuffle is Jokowi's prerogative as president. "That's Pak Jokowi's prerogative. If the PAN just obeys, when do you want to reshuffle," said Yandri.

But PAN, said Yandri, has prepared its cadres if Jokowi is invited to join the cabinet. Such as PAN General Chair Zulkifli Hasan, PAN Secretary General Eddy Soeparno, and PAN DPP Chairman Soetrisno Bachir.

"We have prepared cadres. I have said many times. There are many PAN cadres who are ready to assist Pak Jokowi's government. ," he said.
