BOGOR - Supporters of Anies Baswedan in West Java have prepared 2,500 cadres from the millennial circle who are members of the Joint Movement for Anies We Are Ready (For Action) to support advancing in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

West Java Action Daily Coordinator Tonny F at the Bogor Raya Volunteer Action meeting said the cadre was specifically for beginner voters or Generation Z, Millennials, community and grassroots communities who were impressed by the friendliness of Anies Baswedan.

"It's time for a president to invite the middle and lower classes to give a big space to help build and direct Indonesia's populist economy," said Tonny, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 29.

Tonny said that Beraksi's core volunteers will help novice and millennial voters identify Anies in his role in building leadership so that they will be confident in facing the 2024 General Election, socialize presidential candidate Anies Baswedan, and form networks to the smallest regional units.

Tonny assessed that Anies was the right choice to improve and enhance the role of the community in the economic sector, such as agriculture, animal husbandry and fisheries to move him from the millennial circle because he had long been close to the world of education.

On the other hand, Tony also believes that when Anies becomes president, he can prioritize the widest possible employment opportunities and involve art culture actors so that they can be independent.

The declaration of supporters of Anies Baswedan in the Action movement, said Tonny, began in the Bogor area which spread to the Subang Regency, Karawang Regency, Bandung Regency, Bandung City, West Bandung Regency, and Cimahi City.

In the same place, education activist who is also the Action Coordinator for Subang Regency and Karawang Regency, Iwan Masna, emphasized that Anies is not only an option but a mandatory requirement for the people and Indonesia.

"Because within Anies there is a blend that complements each other in terms of personal values, capacities and capabilities needed for a visionary leader," said Iwan.

According to him, the various reasons given by the volunteer cadres support Anies Baswedan, but all agree that the man who is still serving as the Governor of DKI Jakarta is a complete figure to lead Indonesia.

"Pak Anies is polite, honest, and capable of leading, so I am fully ready to support him," he said.
