DKI Provincial Government Checks Infiltration Wells That Have Just Been Broken, Deputy Governor: If There's Something Not In Accordance With The Rules, Report It

JAKARTA - The DKI Provincial Government is evaluating the construction of an infiltration well on Jalan Intan, Cilandak, South Jakarta because it has broken and has holes, even though the work has not been completed for a long time.

"Anyone who does it will be checked for deficiencies and checked according to the rules and regulations," said Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria at the DKI Jakarta DPRD building, quoted by Antara, Monday, November 29.

Riza explained that the construction of infiltration wells uses the services of a third party. The Provincial Government and the DKI Jakarta DPRD also always supervise the project work.

However, Riza still asks people who find anomalies in the DKI Provincial Government project to immediately report it.

"If there is a job that does not comply with the rules, does not match the specifications, please immediately report it to us," said Riza.

Previously, comedian Soleh Solihun had tweeted via social media about the work on vertical drainage at his home complex Jalan Intan, Cilandak, South Jakarta, which was covered with soil due to the excavation of infiltration wells.

On November 17, he tweeted his wish for workers to move quickly to complete the project. Until the 10th day since project work, on November 25, Soleh still found that one vertical drainage hole had not been closed.

The next day he found the cover of the infiltration well on Jalan Intan damaged.

"Dear @DinasSDAJakarta this is a vertical drainage dig on Jalan Diamond, it's not even a month old, it's already destroyed and even has holes. It's dangerous for motorists," he tweeted, November 26, 2021.

The day after the tweet, Soleh said that the infiltration wells in front and beside his house had been closed on Friday afternoon, November 26, 2021 and he was grateful for the response of the DKI Water Resources Service.
