JAKARTA - The Malang Resort Police (Polres) is investigating the alleged hit-and-run incident on Jalan Tirto Mulyo, Malang Regency, East Java, which happened to witness Zha Eka Wulandari of the East Java League 3 match-fixing case.

Head of Malang City Police Traffic Unit AKP Agung Fitransyah in Malang Regency, East Java, Saturday, stated that his party is currently still conducting an investigation and deepening of the alleged hit and run that happened to the treasurer of the Gresik League 3 team, Putra Paranane.

"The investigation is still ongoing, it is still being explored," Agung said as quoted by Antara.

Agung explained that the police were still examining a number of witnesses at the scene of the incident, Jalan Tirto Mulyo, Dau District, Malang Regency. In addition, the police have also conducted a crime scene (TKP).

Based on the results of the crime scene and the examination of witnesses, his party has not found any contact between the vehicle used by Zha and other vehicles. The provisional conclusion is that the incident was a single accident.

"We have not found contact with other vehicles. For hit and run, there should be contact with other vehicles. It is very possible that it fell alone or a single accident," he said.

On Thursday, November 25, a witness related to the alleged match-fixing case of the East Java League 3 was suspected of being the victim of a hit-and-run.

Zha and her husband suffered a number of injuries to the right side of their bodies, including the head, cheeks, hands and feet.

In addition, Zha's teeth were also broken due to the impact when he fell from the motorcycle.

Based on Zha's information, the hit-and-run incident occurred at 18.30 WIB. At that time, he had just filled out an electronic money card (e-toll) at one of the modern retailers in the area.

"I left the house to fill out the e-toll because today (Friday) I was planned to be called by the East Java Regional Police. My husband and I were overtaken from the left, then we fell," said Zha, Friday (11/26).

Before the incident, said Zha, another two-wheeled vehicle overtook him from the right side. At that time, a motorcycle rider wearing a black jacket saw Zha and laughed.

He added that Zha and her husband had time to reduce the speed of the vehicle and talked about the behavior of the motorcyclist who overtook and laughed.

Not long ago, another motorbike from the left side overtook and caused Zha and her husband to fall.

For information, Zha Eka Wulandari is the reporter related to the alleged match-fixing in Group B League 3 East Java in the match between Gresik Putra Paranane against Persema Malang and NZR Sumbersari.

In this case, the players of Gresik Putra Paranane were offered some money to give up the two matches. Gresik Putra Paranane ended up losing 1-5 against Persema and 0-1 against NZR Sumbersari.
