JAKARTA - A bus driver and two teenagers in western Kosovo were killed when a masked man opened fire on a bus also carrying school children heading home.

"We believe the perpetrator is alone and we are trying to do whatever it takes to find out what happened and find the suspect," deputy commander of Peja police station Veton Elshani told Reuters.

The site of the attack was near the small town of Decani, about 90 km from the capital Pristina.

Elshani said that one other person was injured, but his condition was not serious.

A police source who declined to be identified said there was no indication that the attack was terrorism-related.

Local media reported a conflict between two local bus companies might be the motive behind the incident, but Reuters was unable to verify the report.
