Police Implement PPKM Command Post During Christmas And New Year Holidays, People Must Have SKM

JAKARTA - The National Police stated that in securing the 2021 Christmas and 2022 New Year holidays, they would implement a micro-scale PPKM post scheme. Where, the scheme follows up on the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs number 62 of 2021.

"In the future, there will be check point supervision of the joint team of Satpol PP and the TNI and Polri," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Friday, November 26.

In addition, the National Police together with other related parties will also be on guard at posts spread throughout Indonesia.

"The National Police also have posts at all toll gates and certain access points on the border between regions as check points," said Dedi.

The joint team will check the completeness of the documents of the people who will travel out of town. The document in question is an Entry Letter (SKM). Where, the letter was issued by RT related to travel information.

"So every community who will travel must go through a micro-scale PPKM post. Later the SKM will be issued by the head of the RT, namely a travel certificate," said Dedi. If the community does not have it, then the officers will conduct a health check.

"For example, an antigen swab will not be carried out, if for example he (the public) is positive later, PCR will be followed up," said Dedi.
