TNI Commander Reviewing I Ngurah Rai Airport Bali Security Readiness For The G20 Summit

BADUNG - TNI (Army) Commander General Andika Perkasa inspects Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. The Commander in Chief reviewed the security readiness of the G20 Bali Summit in 2022.

"Our job is to be the person in charge of the security sector for the G20. So, internally we are starting to identify the tasks of the venues that are planned to be places of activity for the participants", said General Andika Perkasa, Friday, November 26.

From the review, the TNI Commander received an overview from PT Angkasa Pura regarding the elements operating at Bali's I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.

According to General Andika, Bali is ready to host the G20 Summit. Preparations are now being carried out by mapping the location or venue for the heads of state at the G20 Summit

"In Bali, in my opinion, it is very mature and ready. So we just need to know the places that will be used as places of activity so that we (can) plan for floating personnel that will be needed later", he said.

The TNI Commander ensures that field identification will be analyzed for security needs carried out by the Army.

"So that we really become hosts who make G20 guests feel served and safe", said General Andika.
