Deadly Accident on Cipali Toll Road Starting from an Elf that "Jumped" to the Cross Path

BANDUNG - Eight people died in a deadly accident on the Cipali toll road. The accident started with a minibus crossing the opposite lane.

"The Elf minibus vehicle (D 7013 AN) came from the direction of Cikopo to Palimanan. On arrival at the location, the driver was suspected of lack of anticipation. Then the vehicle crossed into the lane towards Jakarta, with the position tilted upside down," said Dirlantas Polda Jabar Kombes Eddy Djunaedi to reporters, Monday, 10 August.

The Elf car which was on the opposite lane of the Cipali KM 184 + 300 toll road was then hit by a Toyota Rush with police number B 2918 PKL.  This car drove from the direction of Palimanan towards Jakarta.

"The final position of the Elf vehicle was tilted (with) the two left wheels on top, while the normal Rush vehicle faced west," said Eddy.

As a result of the accident at around 03.10 WIB this morning, 8 people died, 1 person was seriously injured and 14 people were slightly injured. The eight victims died were taken to Arjowinangun Hospital, Cirebon.
