Violating Local Regulation Holds Trade On Sidewalks, 10 Street Street Vendors In Depok Fines Rp100,000

DEPOK - A total of 10 street vendors (PKL) were fined Rp. 100,000 by the Depok District Court (PN) for violating regional regulations (perda).

"The street vendors violated Regional Regulation No. 16 of 2012 concerning the Guidance and Supervision of Public Order," said Head of the Depok City Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP), Lienda Ratnanurdianny in a statement, Antara, Thursday, November 25.

Lienda said that the violators who participated in the tipiring trial were street vendors (PKL) who were disciplined today. They were found selling on the shoulder of the road and sidewalk.

"There were 10 violators who took part in tipiring after we disciplined them," he said.

Lienda hopes that this trial can provide a deterrent effect for them. Of course, as a step to create a safe and conducive Depok City.

Meanwhile, Head of the Depok City Satpol PP Perda Enforcement Division, Taufiqurakhman said, based on the closed-door trial, as many as 10 street vendors were expected to no longer commit violations.

"They will be fined according to the violations committed," he said.
