The Attorney General's Office Immediately Proposes Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja To Be The Name Of The Street

CIBINONG - Deputy Attorney General Setia Untung Arimuladi said his party would soon propose the first Attorney General Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja to be one of the names of roads in Indonesia.

"We will see in the future. Because Attorney General Soeprapto already has a road name. We will propose this to the government," said Untung after leading the ceremony for the transfer of Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja's grave at Pusara Adhyaksa, Cibinong, Bogor Regency, West Java, Thursday.

According to him, the proposal to make Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja the name of the street is an honor, considering the services of the deceased who had integrity when he served as Attorney General twice in 1945 and 1959. General Affairs (TPU) Menteng Pulo, South Jakarta, to the Adhyaksa Pusara Cemetery in Cibinong, Bogor.

The transfer of the tomb of the late Raden Gatot Taroenamihardja was planned since 2019. At that time, Untung received information that there was the grave of the first Indonesian Attorney General at the Menteng Pulo TPU.

"When in 2019 I as the chairman of the Indonesian Prosecutors Association received information, we checked there and then I contacted the family concerned for the transfer, the family agreed to be more cared for and cared for," said Untung.

The funeral relocation ceremony was also attended by the ranks of the Attorney General's Office, the West Java High Prosecutor's Office, the Bogor District Attorney's Office, and the Bogor Regency Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda).
