MEDAN - The action of dancing without a mask carried out by officers of the Medan City Transportation Service (Dishub) was recorded and went viral on social media. Not only dancing, the employees at the service were also seen showing off some money.

Mayor of Medan, Bobby Nasution last week said he had formed a team to investigate the video.

"A team has been formed from the Inspectorate of the code of ethics team. It has been formed and has been examined by the Inspectorate," Bobby told reporters in Medan City, Thursday, November 18.

However, a week has passed, there has been no action from the mayor on the incident. Bobby Nasution evaded when asked about this.

"Ask the inspectorate," Bobby Nasution explained.

He confirmed that he would carry out whatever recommendations were given by the Inspectorate.

"I have said many times, yesterday that several incidents related to the inspectorate gave sanctions. If the sanction is, for example, recommending the mayor to take action, like yesterday, I will take action," he said.

"Ask the inspectorate. It hasn't been conveyed to me," continued Bobby Nasution.

Previously reported, videos of Medan City Transportation Service employees dancing without masks were circulating on social media. There are officers who show off money.

The 8-second video shows Medan City Transportation Agency officers dancing to the accompaniment of dangdut music. In the video, the Head of the Transportation Service, Iswar Lubis, is also singing a song.
