North Maluku Regional Police SP3 Case Of Embezzlement Of Shophouses, Land And Cars With Suspect Members Of DPRD

TERNATE - The investigation team from the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation of the North Maluku (Malut) Regional Police has officially terminated the investigation with an Investigation Termination Order or SP3 for the alleged criminal act of embezzlement with the suspect member of the North Maluku DPRD, Wahda Z Imam.

"This case has been declared completed by the investigators of the North Maluku Police Directorate of Criminal Investigation and the Reported Persons will be issued today, starting today," said Head of the Wasidik Division of the North Maluku Police Directorate of Criminal Investigation AKBP Hengky Setiawan in Ternate, quoted by Antara, November 24.

The termination of the investigation of the case that dragged members of the DPRD of North Maluku Province was carried out in a case title at the North Maluku Police Ditreskrimum Office. The case was led by the Deputy Director of Criminal Investigation at the North Maluku Police, AKBP Yury Nurhidayat, accompanied by the Head of the Wasidik Division of the Directorate of Criminal Investigation, AKBP Hengky Setiawan.

The Head of the Wasidik Division of the North Sumatra Police's Ditreskrimum AKBP Hengky Setiawan said that the peace agreement on the case handled by the Ditreskrimum was reported by the heirs.

Meanwhile, the legal adviser for the reporting party, Bahtiar Husni, said that his party agreed that the report would be terminated.

"It has been agreed that what has been controlled by the reported person Wahda Z Imam is the pure property of the late Velti Joshua, not the property of the reported party," he said.

Just to note, the termination of the investigation of the case was carried out after the two litigants had agreed to choose a peaceful path by taking restorative justice efforts.

In the agreement, it was reported that Wahda was willing to return all the assets that were the object of the case.

Some of the assets returned included four shop houses and their contents, one house and its contents, a plot of land in Sofifi and two cars.
