JAKARTA - A mother and her four children were reported missing in a river in Pundoho Village, North Pakue District, North Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi (Sultra).
Head of the Public Information Subsection of North Kolaka Police, Aiptu Hari Hermawan, said the incident occurred at around 16.30 WITA, Wednesday, November 24.
"There has been an accident on the Pundoho River where five Pundoho residents, namely the mother and her four children, were swept away," he said in a written statement received by Antara.
The five victims were residents of Pundoho Village, North Pakue District, North Kolaka Regency.
The incident occurred when the mother and her four children were walking home after gardening. However, when crossing the river in the area, the flood came and dragged the five victims.

Luckily, one child victim was found and immediately evacuated at the North Pakue Health Center, the local area because he was unconscious.
The police and the local community are currently searching for the victims who are still missing.
