A Woman In Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra Stabbed At An ATM Booth, The Perpetrator Is Her Own Husband

MEDAN - A woman in Pematangsiantar, North Sumatra, was stabbed at a BRI ATM outlet. As a result, this woman was injured.

The victim is known to be a resident of the West Siantar District. Based on the information obtained, the incident took place quickly.

The victim who was stabbed at an ATM booth suddenly asked for help while getting out. Residents who saw immediately took the victim to the nearest hospital.

A parking attendant who was at the scene, John Sijabat said the victim suffered injuries to her head and hands. John said the perpetrator was one person.

"When she came out (the victim) was still conscious. Then I wanted to take her to Tiara Hospital, but she said she wanted to go home and take her cellphone. the perpetrator is her husband", John told reporters, Tuesday, November 23.

From the information received by John, the victim is currently being treated at the Djasamen Saragih Hospital.

Separately, the Pematangsiantar Police Chief, Boy Sutan Binanga, confirmed the attack at the ATM outlet. But he has not detailed the chronology of the incident.

"That's right, (for more details) go directly to the Criminal Investigation Unit, yes", he said.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Pematangsiantar Police, AKP Banuara Manurung, when confirmed, said that the perpetrator of the assault was the victim's husband with the initials REM. The motive is revenge because the victim wants to divorce.

"(Allegedly) the perpetrator was revengeful, because he wanted a divorce", said AKP Banuara, confirming that the police were still hunting for the perpetrator.
