Facts About The Arrest Of The Drug Dealer Who Hit Iptu JM, The Police Were Chasing Each Other On The Toll Road

JAKARTA - A joint special team from the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Central Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Investigation Unit managed to arrest a drug dealer with 35 kilograms of methamphetamine as evidence in Semarang, Central Java. It is known that the dealer who was arrested was the perpetrator who hit a member of Iptu Lukas Marbun or Iptu JM in Rest Area Km 208, Palimanan Toll Road, Cirebon, West Java.

"The suspect with the initials C, who was on the run, was arrested at the border of Semarang, Central Java," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol. Hengki Haryadi to VOI, Tuesday, November 23.

The suspected methamphetamine dealer was arrested after being chased since Sunday, November 21, yesterday. The Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief moved quickly by forming a special team to hunt down the two airports that escaped the ambush at the Km 208 Rest Area, Palimanan Toll Road, Cirebon, West Java.

"The arrests were a special team, a joint team from the Satreskrim and the Narcotics Unit of the Central Jakarta Police," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of Drug Investigation at the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Indriwienny Panjiyoga, explained that his members had fired warning shots at the two drug dealers after their members were hit in the Cirebon Rest Area. The shot also targeted the car door belonging to the drug dealer.

"When the suspect fled, our members shot and hit one part of the car door," said Kompol Panji.

But unfortunately, Panji said that even though warning shots had been fired, the two perpetrators did not heed it and kept running away.

"But the suspect still doesn't stop," he said.

As a result, the police pursued quite far to the Beber area, Cirebon Regency. In the Beber area, the police found the cars of the two perpetrators along with evidence of shabu-shabu.

The perpetrator, said Panji, fled to a residential area not far from where the car and evidence of shabu weighing 35 kilograms were found.
